per dirti che per è come se fossi qui 

anche se non ci sei piu da 41 anni 

sei sempre presente

vicina a consigliarmi 

a vedere tutto ciò che faccio giornalmente 

e cerchi di non farmi sbagliare mai

Mamma grazie grazie grazie 

tutte le mamme sono importanti 

ma tu mamma sei speciale 

Mom, 

I want to write you this letter 

to tell you that, to me, it’s as if 

you were right here.

Even though you’ve been gone for 41 years,

you are always present—

close by, offering advice,

watching everything I do each day,

and trying to keep me from ever making 

a mistake.

Mom, thank you, thank you, thank you.

All moms are important,

but you, Mom, are special.
